What began as a humble effort to share extra garden starter plants with friends and neighbors grew into the founding of Pepper’s Nursery in 2020. Today, we specialize in hand-propagated fruiting trees, carefully selected and grown from seed and cutting to add an edible appeal to your space.

Our nursery offers a diverse collection of fruiting trees, from native favorites like Paw Paw, Persimmon, and Plum, to hardy imported varieties such as Fig, Pomegranate, and Crabapple, as well as tropical selections like Lemon, Lime, and Avocado that need a little extra care to flourish here in USDA Zone 8a. We regularly attend horticultural fairs, conferences, and grower events to discover and reproduce the best varieties possible for our customers.

After retiring from careers in public service, we launched a handyman business and were surprised by the high prices many homeowners were being charged for even basic yard maintenance. We knew there had to be a better, more affordable option.

That’s why, in 2026, Pepper’s Nursery proudly expanded to offer complete yard care services—from routine mowing and one-time cleanups to overgrown yard reclaiming and full land recovery. Our mission is simple: to provide dependable, quality service at honest prices that working families can afford.
